Marshmallow Beetle

During dinner one night Rebecca wanted to talk about Dung Beetles.  To keep things appetizing we switched things around so they were Marshmallow Beetles.  Rolling around Marshmallows in Candyland.

Daffodil

This week a story in a series of panels. I'm about 2 weeks ahead of the real ones here.  The shoots are only just now starting to poke out.

Winter's Edge

Inspiration came from an off ramp of the Garden State Parkway where the day's light drizzle made a thick mist rise from the snow.

Started this one with a fixed palette and some small plotting as to where to put the trees.  Having a fixed palette helps me focus more on the use of the colors rather than picking them later on. Although, the initial plan had green in it, I felt it was finished without it.
